Who is The Culture Circle...

Blair is an alumni of the Andrew Forrest school of leadership and culture. Cutting his teeth in State Ministerial Offices, The Chamber of Minerals and Energy and BHP, he was part of the original Fortescue leadership team that took the company from being an exploration hopeful to the world's fourth largest iron ore producer and global clean-energy aspirant.

In 2012, when the company was at risk of catastrophic failure, Andrew invited Blair to become Fortescue’s inaugural Head of Culture and Leadership, where he spent the best part of a decade spearheading the company’s culture strategy.
During this time, Fortescue defied all expectations by transitioning from the worst of the Pilbara iron ore majors to the best across a range of indices including cost and safety.

His culture theory, The Culture Circle, is recognised for its simplicity, practicality and impact, having been road tested by hundreds of leaders. It breaks culture down in a meaningful and tangible way so that any leader can understand what to do and make it happen on their own.
